قالت (CNN) ان ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية فى سوريا الاثنين ان سوريا عرضة لتفشي فيروس كورونا الجديد (كوفيد-19) وذلك بسبب الحرب المندلعة فى سوريا منذو سنوات واكد نعمة سعيد عابد ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية فى سوريا ان نظام الصحة فى سوريا هش جدا والعديد من الافراد فى سوريا اقل حصانة امام الاصابة بفيروس كورونا الجديد (كوفيد-19) الذى انتشر من ولاية ووهان الصينية والتى تعد منبت هذا الوباء العالمي.

حيث سجلت وزارة الصحة السورية امس الاحد اول اصابة لفيروس كورونا الجديد (كوفيد-19) والحالة هي فتاة عائدة من خارج البلاد وكانت تحمل الفيروس وتبلغ من العمر 20 عام .
وقال الدكتور عابد فى اتصال مع CNN ان سوريا معرضة الان تسجل عدد كبير جدا من الإصابة بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) نظر لحالة الحرب التى تشمل البلاد واضاف قائلا نحن نقيم الوضع فى سوريا كخطر جدا بصرف النظر عن القضية الراهنة.
وقال عابد ان هناك العديد من الدول التى قد تكون فيها خطر كارثي والتى يجب تقديم الدعم لها وعلي راسها سوريا والعراق وليبيا وايران فى ظل الوباء العالمي الجديد الذى يمر بة العالم اجمع نظر لسرعة انتشار فيروس كورونا الجديد.

ووفقا لتقارير الامم المتحدة ان سوريا حاليا تحتل العدد الاكبر لاعداد النازحين او اللاجئين وقال الدكتور عابد ان اللجئين هم اكثر عرضة للاصابة بفيروس كورونا الجديد نظرا للظروف المعيشية الصعبة التى يمرون بها
واضاف ايضا انة لابد ان نركز على نازحي الداخل السوري لاننا ندرك عواقب تفشي الوباء هناك علي حد تعبيره.
وقال عابد ان سبب التاخر فى الإعلان عن اصابات بفيروس كورونا الجديد (كوفيد-19) الى نسبة الفحوص الطبية القليلة التى يتم عملها فى سوريا نظرا للوضع القائم هناك
